History

Pop Maratas' 100th birthday was a blast. So many came to celebrate this truly amazing man. Many thanks to all who took time out to attend. We all had so much to catch up on each person's lives and their own family.
Anacleto Murcia Maratas was born on April 26, 1908, and settled in Santa Maria in 1954. He married Ansie Lara and his children are Arturo, Sylvia and Sal. Ansie Lara (Barros) had Al and Robert. Al and Robert Barros name soon changed to Maratas. Anacleto, later remarried in 1959 to Nancy Moya . He still goes by his nickname "Olong." Anacleto, "Pop" loves life, biko and his favorite curse word is "shit".
